This wonderful Fuzz Is a unique take on the legendary Zonk II – the successor to the iconic Zonk Machine
(there are myths about an ultra-rare Germanium version that was built in a transitional period, back in the early days)
At its core are two original Hitachi 2SA15 transistors from 1965 – the wonderful Japanese counterpart to the famous OC44 – delivering a warm, open tone with beautiful texture.
The sound is big yet articulate, with a lovely sparkle and subtle “zing” when rolling back your guitar’s volume knob and with the added Bias Pot, you can go from „full-on singing sustain” to „lovely gated sounds“ and everything in between.
